There are other options that are available to choose, and sometimes people will choose to register at more than one place to make it easier for their friends and family. Baby Registry Essentials

Crib
When starting your baby registry, the crib is a main item. The crib is one of the main focuses in the room. There are so many different shapes, designs, and colors to choose from. This should be one of the first things that you decide on so that all your other accessories and furniture will go along with it! Now the crib doesn’t necessarily have to go on the registry, some people choose to buy it themselves or have family members buy it separate, but either way you choose, Here are a few of my favorite choices for cribs.

Changing Table & Dresser
The changing table will be easy to choose once you pick out your crib. Most baby registry sites will have changing tables and dressers to match the crib. This is another item that is more optional to put on your registry. They also have dressers that combine with the changing table to make it more spacious and cost effective:

Rockers are important feature in the nursery for design and use. Whether you are going to be nursing or bottle feeding your child, they will wake up in the night and the most soothing thing will be to rock them bak to sleep while feeding them. Strollers:
For strollers you will most likely find a combined set where the car seat and stroller are attached. Each infant carseat usually comes with a matching stroller to buy. There are few car seats that don’t come with a combined stroller, if that is the case for you, then you ill have to purchase that separate.
High Chair
High Chairs are a great item to have on your baby registry. There are so many designs and colors to choose from. This will be in your dinning area so pick something that you would like to look at all the time. Here are the different options at each registry site:

The bumbo chair is a good item to have on your baby registry as well. It helps your baby sit up right without falling, which in turn helps them to build the muscles they need in order to sit on their own. Breast Pump
If you are choosing to breast feed, a breast pump might be a good item to have on your baby registry. Even if your do not want to bottle feed, you may need to pump for other reasons, so it may be a good item to have on hold. You may qualify for a free breast pump through your insurance, but if you don’t make sure to put it on your registry along with the milk bags. It might also be a good idea to register for a manual breast pump for the times you are on the go and need to release.
Bottles/Nursing Items
Bottles are an important thing to register for. You will want to get a lot of bottles because you may not always have time to wash them right away, and you baby will eat every 2 hours in the beginning. The type of bottle that you choose is up to you. Every baby reacts different to bottles so it may be a test run until you find the right one that is perfect for your baby!

Nail Clippers
Make sure to register for nail clippers and a nasal aspirator. These are both important as babies will scratch themselves, and need help getting rid of their nasal congestions. A normal infant nail clipper will be just fine. Here are a few different nasal aspirators that you can register for:
Clothes:
Clothes are always the cutest things to buy and this is how you can show your guests what your style in clothes are since some guests might buy off your registry. Choose things that you like, have the colors you are going for, and the styles that you want. Don’t forget these essentials though:
- 4-8 onesies (wide head openings and loose legs)
- 4-8 undershirts (snaps at neck or wide head openings, snaps under crotch)
- 4-8 one-piece pajamas
- 2 blanket sleepers for winter baby
- 1-3 sweaters or jackets (front buttoned)
- 1-3 rompers or other dress-up outfits
- 4-7 socks or booties (shoes are unnecessary until baby walks
- 1-3 hats (broad-brimmed for a summer baby, soft cap that covers ears for a winter baby)

Shoes:
Nothing gets cuter than baby shoes. Now your baby won’t really be wearing shoes until the first 3-6 months of their life, but you can find cute socks and booties for them. You can always add shoes for as your baby grows, so if you do find shoes that you want to add to your registry just make them for about 5 moths plus.
