The zoo is always a fun way to get out the house and see cute creatures! The zoo can also be educational for children, which helps keep your kids minds working even when they are on break. 6. Fun Activities: Reading
Now is a perfect time to have your kids read in their free time. Books are good for kids of all ages, and they help to promote the importance of education at all times. There are some good books for kids of all ages and you can buy a few new ones to keep their little minds engaged.

Baking is a good activity you can do with your kids in the house. Your kids will have such a sense of pride and accomplishment helping you out, so get your kids involved. 10. Fun Activities: Play, Play, & Play Some More
I think to often we get caught up in how much technology and options we have, that we forget to just take time out of the day and play. Have you kids go outside and enjoy the snow, or the fresh air. Have your kids play with their toys, do make believe, let their imaginations run wild. Take it back to basics and lets remind our kids how much fun it is to just PLAY!
